Julia London
Dinah Dinwiddie publishes historical and contemporary romance as Julia London. Reared on a Texas ranch, she finished college, worked in public administration in Washington, D.C., then went home to Texas and started writing fiction; her first novel appeared in 1998 and over fifty have followed, most of them in series, and she works from Austin. She has been shortlisted six times for the RITA Award and holds an RT award for best historical romance. The Devil Takes a Bride, from HQN, is the second Cabot Sisters Regency novel, after The Trouble with Honor: Grace Cabot's scheme to marry money misfires when she is compromised by the wrong brother, and she ends up the wife of the taciturn Earl of Merryton. You Lucky Dog (Berkley, 2020) is a contemporary romantic comedy in which a dog walker mixes up two basset hounds and delivers each to the wrong door, throwing Carly Kennedy and Max Sheffington together.
