Kent Beck

Kent Beck is an American software engineer, author, and consultant best known for creating test-driven development (TDD), founding extreme programming (XP), and co-creating the JUnit testing framework. He was one of the seventeen original signatories of the Agile Manifesto, the founding document for agile software development. His work has shaped how software is designed, tested, and built for more than three decades, making him one of the most influential figures in the history of software engineering practice.
