Linda Kage catalogues books for a living at a library in southeast Kansas, and has published romance steadily since 2010, in a range that runs from teenage stories through contemporary to fantasy. She grew up the youngest of eight children on a dairy farm, took a two-year correspondence course from the Institute of Children's Literature, and completed a degree in English with an emphasis on creative fiction at Pittsburg State. The Stillburrow Crush, from 2010, follows Carrie Paxton, editor of a small-town school paper, who is sent to interview the quarterback; it was named a finalist in the 2011 EPIC ebook competition. Delinquent Daddy, from the same year, is contemporary and belongs to her Banks and Kincaid family sequence. One True Love opened the Love Mark fantasy series in 2018, set in kingdoms where a tattooed mark identifies a soulmate and a prince finds his pointing at a forbidden match. All My Love, from 2022, drops a New Orleans waitress into that same invented world. She keeps nine cuckoo clocks.
