M.A. Abraham
M.A. Abraham writes Canadian fantasy and romance best known for building several connected speculative series. King’s Champion is the third full-length novel in the Elven Chronicles, following Gabriel and Marious' Story in a sequence concerned with Elven families, warriors, and conflicts with demonic enemies. Abraham began inventing stories while young and continued writing privately for years before relatives encouraged her to bring the manuscripts into print. The Elven Chronicles expanded beyond its initial books into short stories and later developments, while related projects include One Empire and Guardians of the Empire. Abraham has also written the Tantalus series, which moves from an Elven realm to science-fictional encounters involving human arrivals and a winged population. Her fiction repeatedly returns to large families, protective loyalties, and communities tested by war. King’s Champion occupies an early place in that body of work, deepening the original series before its world widened into later generations and neighbouring narratives.
