N. Louise Wright was the publishing form used by American composer, pianist, and music educator Nannie Louise Wright. Twelve Preludes for the Pianofort Op. 25 is a 1915 collection for solo piano issued in New York by G. Schirmer. The set contains twelve contrasting preludes, including movements in F major, E-flat major, D minor, G minor, G major, and C minor, with one written for the left hand alone. Project Gutenberg preserves the first prelude and reproduces the original cover’s complete contents, while IMSLP identifies the work as early twentieth-century Romantic piano music and records its dedication to E. R. Kroeger. Wright also composed pedagogical piano pieces and a companion set of twelve études.
