Natasha Lunn

A British journalist who started Conversations on Love as a newsletter, interviewing writers and therapists about romantic love, friendship, grief and the gap between what people expect and what they get.

The book gathers those interviews, Philippa Perry and Alain de Botton and Esther Perel among them, around her own account of wanting a relationship, then wanting a child, and the waiting involved in both. It works because she keeps asking follow-up questions rather than settling for the quotable answer.
