Jayson Gaddis took an MA in counseling and psychology at Naropa, held a licence as a professional counselor, and ran a private practice for roughly a decade before moving into teaching and coaching. He founded The Relationship School, which runs courses and trains and certifies relationship coaches, and he hosts its podcast. Balance brought out Getting to Zero in October 2021. It traces conflict styles back to early attachment patterns and argues that dodging a hard conversation costs more than having one, with the whole method aimed at partners, family and close colleagues rather than at strangers.
