Peter Berresford Ellis

Peter Berresford Ellis has written extensively about Celtic history, language, folklore, and literature. The Mammoth Book of Celtic Myths and Legends brings together retellings from six Celtic cultures: Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish, Manx, and Breton. Robinson published this edition in 2002, and the National Library of Ireland records that the material had first appeared as The Chronicles of the Celts in 1999. Ellis combines familiar narratives with stories drawn from manuscripts that had not previously reached a general English-language audience.
