Phil Stamper

The Gravity of Us moves the son of a NASA astronaut to Houston for a Mars programme that is being run as reality television, and gives him a boyfriend among the other crew children. Stamper writes contemporary fiction for teenagers with queer leads where coming out is not the plot and nobody is punished for it. He works in publishing in New York and grew up in rural Ohio, which surfaces in the small-town novels rather than in this one.
