Sarah Knight
Quit a publishing job, moved to the Dominican Republic, and wrote a parody of Marie Kondo that turned out to be a genuine argument.
The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck applies the tidying method to obligations instead of objects: make a list of what you spend energy on, decide what actually matters, and stop attending the rest. Knight is funny about the guilt that follows.
The later books extend it to worry and to getting things done. The profanity is the marketing; the underlying advice about budgeting attention is sound.
