Movsesian spent well over ten years as Conan O'Brien's assistant, then wrote a book about being bad at it: asleep in the office, ignoring the emails, eating his food, and keeping the job anyway because the arrangement had turned into something other than employment. The World's Worst Assistant is funnier than that premise and is partly about what happens when you work for one person for that long. She co-hosts his podcast, where the standing argument about her competence is the format rather than an aside. She is Armenian American and has spoken publicly about her family and the Armenian catastrophe of 1915.
