Sophie Davis

Sophie Davis is the shared publishing identity of two longtime friends who met while studying law at Penn State Dickinson Law. Their collaborative fiction spans dystopian, paranormal, science-fiction, and romantic suspense series, with each project developed through joint plotting and writing. Platinum Prey is the second book in the Blind Barriers trilogy. It continues Raven's effort to understand what happened to Lark while new evidence complicates the loyalties and assumptions established in the opening volume. The short trilogy structure lets the writers reveal the mystery in stages, so the book depends on clues and relationships carried forward from the first instalment. Their broader catalogue includes the Talented Saga, which follows young people with unusual abilities inside a controlled political system. Writing as a team allows the pair to combine legal training, speculative world-building, and alternating perspectives. Across these series, they favour continuing narratives in which identity is uncertain, institutions conceal information, and trust must be tested over several connected books.
