Steve-O

Steve-O trained at clown college, filmed himself doing increasingly dangerous stunts on a camcorder, and became one of the central figures of Jackass, a job description that involved staples, fire and a great deal of vomiting. Professional Idiot covers that and the part underneath it: years of addiction, a psychotic episode, and an intervention by Johnny Knoxville in 2008 that ended with him sectioned. He has been sober since and says so constantly, which is the point of saying it. He tours as a stand-up and still does the stunts, with a slightly better sense of what a hospital costs.
