All That You Leave Behind is her 2019 memoir about her relationship with her father, New York Times journalist David Carr, and the task of continuing after his sudden death. All That You Leave Behind connects that screen career to prose by treating archived messages as evidence, conversation, and inheritance, while refusing to simplify either the affection or difficulty within the bond she describes.
