Susan May Warren

Susan May Warren builds contemporary romance and romantic suspense around recurring families whose stories unfold across several novels. Within her Sky King Ranch trilogy, Sunburst occupies the middle volume between Sunrise and Sundown. Revell released it in 2022. The novel follows former Navy SEAL Ranger Kingston and Noemi Sutton after a rescue mission brings them together in Nigeria. Warren's official bibliography identifies the book as part of a three-volume sequence about the Kingston family, while her book page classifies it as both contemporary romantic adventure and contemporary romantic suspense. That series context links its danger and relationship story to the larger history of Sky King Ranch.
