Ted Dekker writes suspense and speculative novels that often explore faith and perception. Raised in Indonesia by missionary parents, he later studied philosophy and religion in America, entered corporate work, and pursued business ventures before concentrating on fiction. His bibliography exceeds forty novels and includes Thr3e, House and the Circle series; Thr3e and House were adapted as feature films. Burn, published by Thomas Nelson in 2010, was written with Erin Healy. The book follows Janeal through the consequences of a choice made during a destructive fire. Dekker's official biography reports sales above fifteen million copies and translations into numerous languages.
