Tiago Forte

Built a following teaching knowledge workers to stop trying to remember things and start capturing them somewhere trustworthy.

Building a Second Brain sets out CODE, capture, organise, distil, express, and PARA for filing by actionability rather than by subject: projects, areas, resources, archive. The insistence that notes exist to be used rather than admired is the useful part. Forte is app-agnostic on purpose, which matters in a field where most advice is really advocacy for one piece of software.
