Tom Segura

1979

Tom Segura works across stand-up comedy, acting, podcasting, and nonfiction, bringing an observational voice shaped in part by his Cincinnati upbringing. I’d Like to Play Alone, Please: Essays turns that voice toward personal stories about touring, parenting, family, public encounters, and the appeal of occasional solitude. Grand Central Publishing issued the essay volume in 2022, and Segura narrated its audio edition himself. He also co-hosts Your Mom's House with comedian Christina P. and 2 Bears 1 Cave with Bert Kreischer, collaborations that place conversation and improvised storytelling alongside his scripted comedy and memoir writing.
