W. H. Davies

W. H. Davies (1871-1940), in full William Henry Davies, was a Welsh poet and writer who spent years of his life tramping across the United Kingdom and the United States. His poems took up hardship, nature, his wandering adventures and the characters he met. Critics class his work as Georgian, though its themes and style differ from that group. He also wrote "The Autobiography of a Super-Tramp".
