A Narrative of the Mutiny on Board the Ship Globe is the 1828 first-hand account by William Lay and Cyrus M. Hussey, two young survivors of the bloody 1824 mutiny aboard the Nantucket whaler Globe in the Pacific. The pair lived for nearly two years among the islanders of the Marshall Islands before their rescue. Their narrative is one of the classic true sea-adventure accounts of the American whaling age. The book is a primary source for Pacific and maritime history. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
