A Plea for the Younger Generation is a short book of social argument by Cosmo Hamilton (1870-1942), the English novelist and playwright whose comedies ran on both London and Broadway stages. Subtitled an intimate talk on the adolescent boy and girl, it urges parents toward honesty with their children about life and sex, a daring plea in its day and part of the franker conversation the new century forced on Edwardian reticence. Hamilton wrote it at the height of his transatlantic popularity. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
