About this book

Jaime Samms' solitary M/M book "Better" was published in 2019. Jesse Turbul moves halfway across the nation in an attempt to flee his past after bringing accusations that resulted in the imprisonment of his abusive ex-Dom. Nevertheless, he immediately and visibly feels attracted to Aadon, a third-year law student, when they meet in the library where he works. They fight to keep their romance going even when there are sparks.

Because his older brother has gone through comparable traumatic experiences as Jesse's, Aadon feels guilty for not being able to support him. Jesse needs to embrace his brokenness to move forward, and Aadon needs to realize that he can't cure him.
