Better than Fiction
The romantic comedy “Better Than Fiction” by Alexa Martin centers on Drew Young, a self-described book hater who gains the Book Nook—her grandmother’s bookstore—unexpectedly. At a book signing in her store, she runs with bestselling author Jasper Williams. Hopeless Romance Jasper gives Drew a wish list of books in return for her assistance in researching the Denver area for his manuscript.
Drew starts to connect with Jasper in a way that she had previously only imagined occurring in literature as they explore together. However, Drew finds herself in a difficult situation when her future as the Book Nook’s proprietor is jeopardized by unclean family ties. However, Jasper is crafting a happy ever after specifically for them—a plot twist she never anticipated.
