Courageous is set during the Crusades. Haunted by a tragic mistake, Rosalind of Ipsworth joins the crusade to free captives near Tripoli. She teams up with Sir Randel Penigree, an aspiring knight. As they train recruits, they face dangers and an unknown enemy, challenging their priorities and faith.
