Alexa Riley’s “Devotion” All of Aurora Adams’ experiences have been structured. For the benefit of her dancing career, she has been forced to wear particular outfits, consume particular foods, and only engage in activities that her mother approves of. She is stuck in a chilly and lonely life with no other option. Her already frail heart is further damaged when her mother chooses to send her abroad for a year of training.
