Driftwood Spars is a 1916 novel by Percival Christopher Wren (1875-1941), the English writer whose years in the Indian Education Service fed all his early fiction. The story turns on John Robin Ross-Ellison, a man of mixed Pathan and English blood, and moves between frontier intrigue and the loyalties of an Indian volunteer corps as war reaches the subcontinent.
