Heart’s Song

The second novel in the Ugly Eternity series is Heart’s Song by Charity Parkerson. The main characters in the tale are Maddox and Hawke. The lead singer of Ugly Eternity, Maddox, is a guy with many secrets. Sadly, Hawke does not belong to that group. For more than a year, Maddox has been shamelessly taking advantage of Hawke for his wonderful body,

constantly giving him just enough hope to keep him hanging on while mocking him with a half-life. The day of judgment comes when Hawke is finally broken by three cruel, insignificant remarks. Maddox never imagined how deeply the other guy would sever ties with him, even if he knew Hawke would eventually be exhausted of his behaviors.
