About the author

Jennifer Niven

All the Bright Places pairs a girl grieving her sister with a boy who is counting the days he stays awake, and it does not arrange a rescue for either of them. Niven lost someone close to her in circumstances near to the ones in the book and has written about it, and it carries resources in the back matter rather than a tidy resolution.
