About this book

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is a very powerful and touching Young Adults book telling the story of two teenagers who seem to be connected during their bad moments though the story is not only sad and depressive. When traveling, they dance and sing, they face characters from their experiences, and feel emotions of love, loss and mental health of their characters.

About the author

Jennifer Niven

All the Bright Places pairs a girl grieving her sister with a boy who is counting the days he stays awake, and it does not arrange a rescue for either of them. Niven lost someone close to her in circumstances near to the ones in the book and has written about it, and it carries resources in the back matter rather than a tidy resolution.
