About this book
Keely and His Discoveries is by Mrs. Bloomfield H. Moore. Its opening pages carry epigraphs from Professor Otto Pfleiderer and from Isaiah, followed by a passage on the God-force of modern conceptions of the Cosmos and a life-force said to beat through the whole universe.
The text presents Keely's work as a search for a fundamental creative law, and speaks of a universal ether as a link between God and man, an idea it ties to the hope of a new revelation. Other passages mention Roscoe on the atomic theory, Pythagoras and Orpheus, and Raphael's fresco of the school of Athens. A later passage turns to an announcement in a French journal about an aerial ship, and to Dr. Franz Hartmann's view that Keely himself may be needed to set the machinery in motion.
