About this book

More About Teddy B. and Teddy G., the Roosevelt Bears is Volume Two, depicting their further travels and adventures. A verse describes the Roosevelt Bears entertaining Philadelphia children in a theatre, where the children clapped and stamped their feet. The verses say the jolliest thing that day was when the two Bears dressed as Irishmen, TEDDY-G as Mike with workman's hod and TEDDY-B as Pat from Blarney sod.

The Bears were asked to get inside a trunk that was locked and tied with rope; the trunk was empty and the Roosevelt Bears had disappeared. The old bobcat with the bandaged knee was the first to shake with TEDDY-B, and a young cougar and a panther bold helped TEDDY-G his load to hold. TEDDY-G says he would like to go to the moon to see if the man up there charges entrance fees and what he does with all the cheese.
