Moses and Aaron concerns civil and ecclesiastical rites used by the ancient Hebrews, as stated in the subtitle. The discussion of Prosylites distinguishes their kinds, the manner of making them, and the account or respect in which they lived among the Jews. A Prosylite of the Covenant is described as submitting to circumcision and the whole Mosaical Pædagogy.
The account of deified creatures attributes some worship to thankfulness for benefits received, naming the sea, winds, air, earth and fruits of the earth among things that became deified. An explanation of the Bath gives its capacity as equal to the Ephah and as a tenth part of an Homer.
