Notes on Philippine Birds is an ornithological paper by Outram Bangs (1862-1932), the American zoologist and longtime curator of mammals at Harvard’s Museum of Comparative Zoology, who also worked extensively on birds. Bangs described many new species from the Neotropics and the Pacific and built major reference collections. This paper reports on a Philippine bird collection in the classical descriptive style of museum ornithology. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
