Perfect Peace

The mother Emma Jean, changes her newborn son into a daughter she will never have. With Arkansas in the middle of the 20th century as a background, the book expresses issues of gender, sexuality, and unconditional love. The reader is left with a lasting impression as a sophisticated and inventive story develops.
