Reed Anthony, Cowman is a 1907 novel by Andy Adams (1859-1935), the Texas trail driver turned author whose fiction is prized for its authentic picture of the cattle frontier. Told as the autobiography of a Texas cattleman, it follows Reed Anthony from Confederate veteran to wealthy rancher across the great age of the open-range cattle trade.
