The Bastion of God

Brandon Q. Morris’ “The Bastion of God” is an engrossing trip into the depths of evil. Astronomer Celia Baron finds in the LDN 63 dark nebula in 2144 unexplainable processes that defy explanation. A small crew consisting of five humans and one AI sets out on a hundred-year journey in a state of deep sleep as humanity outfits a ship to investigate. But as they get to their location, the mystery only deepens. Nothing adds up, and they soon discover that not only are they in grave danger, but also the solar system as a whole is at risk of collapsing.
