Katharine Susannah Prichard

Katharine Susannah Prichard (1883-1969) was an Australian novelist, journalist, and playwright, and a founding member of the Communist Party of Australia. Known for socially engaged fiction rooted in working life, her best-remembered novels include Coonardoo and the goldfields trilogy.
