The Closing Net is a 1912 crime novel by Henry Cottrell Rowland (1874-1933), the American surgeon turned popular novelist whose adventures ran through the big magazines of the day. The story follows Frank Clamart, a gentleman cracksman in Paris trying to go straight while his criminal past draws the net of the title around him.
