About this book

The gentleman-thief Arsène Lupin matches wits with police and rivals over a mysterious crystal stopper that holds the key to a deadly secret, in a fast, twisting adventure of theft, blackmail, and hairbreadth escapes. Leblanc weaves an ingenious plot full of the disguises, daring, and charm that made Lupin France's answer to Sherlock Holmes. Suspenseful and witty, The Crystal Stopper is one of the finest Lupin novels, driven by clever reversals and a race against time. Elegant and thrilling, it offers pure entertainment as the audacious master-thief outwits everyone around him in pursuit of a hidden truth and, as ever, justice on his own terms.
