The Floating Island of Madness is credited to Jason Kirby. A teaser line says that far above the Arabian Desert three Secret Service men find an aerial island whose inhabitants are madmen. A narrator names his companions as Paul Foulet of the French Sureté and Douglas Brice of Scotland Yard.
A character named Foulet says there is someone, somewhere, who is trying to conquer the world. A speaker says he has perfected a serum that robs the patient of every vestige of human emotion and therefore sanity, so that the patient loses all his will to live and resist and becomes nothing but an automaton. A narrator asks how they could go without Brice, and says that he had vanished.
