The Lost World is Michael Crichton’s sequel to Jurassic Park. Six years after the original park’s collapse, Ian Malcolm leads a small expedition to a second island where the dinosaurs were bred. Faster paced than Jurassic Park, with darker stakes and a smaller cast. Reads in a couple of evenings.
