The Selected

The book ‘The Selected’ is written by Rebecca May Hope. ‘The Selected’ is a young adult dystopian novel part of The Selected Series. In the story, the character, Rory O’Shannon, is used to bullies and hunger pangs. After her father is taken away by the New Government, she’s sent to a labor camp and tortured in a basement prison.
