About this book
The War After the War is credited to Isaac Frederick Marcosson. The contents list names, among others, chapters called England Awake, American Business in France, Saving for Victory and The Man Lloyd George. The foreword says that for nearly three years Europe has been drenched with blood and rent with bitter strife.
The foreword says that this tragic tumult must inevitably subside and that the fighting hosts will once more find their way to peaceful pursuit. One part of the text speaks of a new Lloyd George who stepped from unofficial to official stewardship of England. The book describes how the War Savings Committee devised an individual saving and investment plan which begins with a penny, that is two cents.
