Wreck of the Isabella

David Miller’s book “Wreck of the Isabella” tells the story of the British merchant vessel Isabella’s 1812 shipwreck on the Falkland Islands. The start of the conflict between the United States and Britain made the rescue of the passengers more difficult. The book describes the misadventures that both nations’ residents faced before the travelers were returned to their home shores.
