Nani Bhowmik

Nani Bhowmik was born in 1921, In the present Bangladesh Rangpur area. He studied in a school in Rangpur city, He went to Rangpur College and went to Pabna Government College and got his B.SC there. He couldn’t complete his M.SC because of financial reasons.

He joined the Indian Communist Party at a young age and worked in the Shadhinota newspaper as a journalist. even in the 46s events, He collected news fearlessly even in the midst of terrible riots. He published news about these events and more in Shadhinota Newspaper.

in 1948 when the Communist party got blocked and boycotted, he got arrested and was in Presidency, Boxa Jails, etc.

in 1957,  he got into a contract with Moscow’s Pragati Prakashona and worked as a translator for them, and went to Soviet Russia.

In his later years, he stayed in a financial crisis, after losing his sons, he had gone through an emotional loss. He died in 1996 in Russia in a street accident.
