Ada Maria Soto

Ada Maria Soto writes contemporary fiction grounded in work, family, and the practical details of daily life. A Mexican American based in the South Pacific, she previously worked in theatre and film. Bowerbirds, the second Nested Hearts novel, continues the story of James Maron and Gabriel Juarez as differences in money, employment, and responsibility complicate their plans together. His Quiet Agent opens the Agency series with office worker Arthur Drams reaching out to the reserved Martin Grove through conversation and home-cooked meals. Rookery Publishing dates Bowerbirds to 2015 and identifies His Quiet Agent as a 2017 novella.
