Allison Carr Waechter

Allison Carr Waechter writes romantic fantasy and publishes it herself, in separate sequences that share no setting. Dark Night Golden Dawn, from 2022, opens The Immortal Orders, a modern world of magic in which an Illuminated, Finn McKay, and a sorcière, Harlow Krane, are pushed together. The Last Witch Queen belongs to the other line, Outlaws of Interra, which began with Vessel of Starfire and the shorter Sea Smoke. Her own description of the work is brief: magical books for readers who want inclusive stories.
