Andrew Farley
Andrew Farley combines pastoral work, broadcasting, writing, and a former university career in linguistics. His books explain evangelical Christian ideas through direct teaching and imaginative narrative. While serving at Texas Tech University, he published Operation Screwtape with Baker Books in 2012 as Operation Screwtape: The Art of Spiritual War. The work reimagines the correspondence framework associated with C. S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters for a data-driven contemporary setting. Farley includes a self-reflexive linguist character who discovers and translates archived files describing a coordinated spiritual campaign. Baker later reissued the book as The Art of Spiritual War, making the earlier title an important edition relationship. Farley’s broader bibliography includes The Naked Gospel, God Without Religion, and Heaven Is Now, while his pastoral and radio work extends the same emphasis on grace, forgiveness, and identity. His nonfiction background gives the parable a hybrid form, combining doctrinal instruction with a fictional investigative device.
