Angela Kelly combined dressmaking, design and wardrobe management during her service to Queen Elizabeth II. A 2013 government record identifies her as the monarch's personal assistant and senior dresser from 2002, and credits her with five of six outfits and all six hats displayed in a royal fashion exhibition at Hillsborough Castle. She also designed the Queen's outfit for the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. Kelly's 2019 book The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe documents their professional relationship and explains the work behind royal clothing, travel and public appearances. HarperCollins issued the original edition, followed by an expanded Platinum Jubilee edition with material about the royal household during the pandemic.
