Anthony Robbins
1960
Robbins built a seminar and coaching business large enough to make him wealthy on a scale unusual even in the self-improvement trade, and Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within are the two books it was built on. The method mixes neuro-linguistic programming, which mainstream psychology does not treat as evidence-based, with goal setting, deliberate changes of physical state and a great deal of stagecraft. He holds no clinical qualification and does not claim one. Critics point at injuries reported at firewalk events and at the price of the upper packages; his readers point at a following that has lasted forty years. His money book sits on a separate page here under the name Tony Robbins.
